The Well Chiropractic Clinic provides evidence-based chiropractic treatments. The treatments that we provide are firmly grounded in science and clinical research.

We follow protocols and guidelines set by Canadian and British Columbian chiropractic regulatory bodies. Chiropractic is a health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
Chiropractors focus on the assessment of joints, muscles, and tendons.

Chiropractors, like other medical physicians, take thorough histories, and perform orthopaedic testing before differentially diagnosing, estimating prognosis for full recovery, and formulating comprehensive management plans.

Educating and recommending specific therapeutic exercise and lifestyle guidance for your benefit is of particular interest to us.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment that consists of inserting thin needles in specific parts of your body to produce a brain reaction that releases natural painkillers and neurotransmitters. Acupuncture treatments can help the body’s internal organs to correct imbalances in their digestion, absorption, and energy production activities, and in the circulation of their energy through the meridians.

According to the needling methods, acupuncture can be divided into traditional acupuncture, ear acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, and scalp acupuncture.
Modern science explains the functions of acupuncture as follows: Needling the acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain.

These chemicals will either change the experience of pain, or they will trigger the release of other chemicals and hormones, which influence the body’s own internal regulating system.

Our acupuncturists at The Well focus their acupuncture practice on safe treatment, solving problems efficiently, and without much discomfort. This includes acupressure, auriculotherapy, cupping, and traditional Chinese medicine.
